Twelve rooms on a cliff, above a sea that never sits still.

Caldera is a small hotel at the end of a red-earth road in Goa. One pool, one table, one bar, and the Arabian Sea all the way round. Scroll through a day here.

  • Cliff Room

Garden level, a stone terrace, the sea through the almond trees. Four of these.

  • Sea Suite

Upstairs, a sitting room, a bath with a view, doors that fold away. Six of these.

    from ₹22,000 a night

  • The Tower

The top of the house. A bedroom, a roof of your own, the sunset at eye level. Two of these.

Example rates for this demo. Breakfast and the cove included.

12:00 · The water

A pool at the edge. A cove sixty-four steps down.

The pool runs to the cliff and stops. The cove is yours until the tide takes it back around four. Towels, shade and cold water are wherever you end up.

16:00 · The table

One restaurant, eight tables, a menu that follows the boats.

Sundowners on the terrace from five. Dinner from eight: the day's catch, rice, whatever grew this week, and a short list of wines we actually drink.

20:00 · Night

The bar closes when the last guest leaves. The sea doesn't.

Lamps on the paths, a fire on the lower terrace, and the sound of the water below every room all night.
